11/8/2021 0 Comments The Philanthropic Gesture![]() Part of the culture and the climate of doing business in Door County is one of ongoing philanthropy. We wrote philanthropy into our original vision for the farm and what we were going to do with this beautiful parcel of land. We decided to do what we were already doing since what we were already doing was working for so many. For those who are just tuning in we've been handing out free seeds at events and through the mail since 2017. What started as a party gesture turned into a lifestyle of seed passing in an effort cultivate a greener mentality towards Mother Earth and Her abundant gifts. This year our seeds will travel to both new and experienced gardeners alike across this beautiful land. As the climate shifts to change, these seeds will see that healing plants with purpose find their way in the world so that even though regions changes, seeds will endure their living legacy even after we're gone.
