12/4/2021 0 Comments Hope in '22As we head into the third year of the pandemic we've seen our share of lower than typical sales. It's taking longer for not only supplies to arrive, but also transactions to finalize. Everything has a touch of "delay" to it. We decided since everyone was asking for their share of "Peace" that we would begin with Hope and build from there. Our newest highway banner sees us floating Hope for the travelers and locals alike to feel lifted as they speed past on their way to everywhere but here. At some point you'll want to come. You'll become curious and wonder about the farm across from the dairy who has raised a banner of Hope at the front of the Door that we all call home.
So we lift up our Hope to you in anticipation that you'll catch it too. And begin to pass it from soul to soul like precious fire to keep us warm as we head into year 3 of this thing we're doing together. Whether we're in a boat, a raft or simply bobbing along like a cheerio floating in milk, we are all in this together. Sometimes we look at one another as we stand side by side doing the same tasks in the same space and we so cavalierly think "This person isn't with me." And while in short context this may be true but for the duration we've all been walking the same ground for decades. See it. Don't see it. Acknowledge it. Or be obtuse and pretend no one else exists. Tis your walk to continue to be contrite and contrary. Or... And hear me out, seek a greater truth where at the end of the day, our weapons are cast down, our crowns are stashed and we humble ourselves for a meal. We're hoping you'll choose supper over war every day in Door County. Be lifted. And where you can, where you able and the willing assemble, find Hope. Happy Holidays and all our Hope, Love, Joy... and coming soon to an earth near you, Peace. Marihemp & Paul Shields
